African Elephant

The elephant is the biggest animal in all land species. Its tail is between 1 to 1.5m and they weigh from 2,200kg to 6,300kg. This animal is hunted for its ivory from the huge trunks. Its wide flappy ears cool the body from heat. They eat about 300kg in 24 hours (Imagine!!). They live for up to 65years. The texture ranges due to the mud in which they wallow.
